Ruth Derbas Obituary

Derbas, Ruth Ann Age 70, loving daughter of the late Andrew and the late Harriet Derbas; beloved sister of Barbara (Daniel) Kasper, S. M. Mark, C.S.S.F., Philip (Joan) Derbas and Martha (Norbert) Miller; fond aunt of Christopher (Tracy), Gregory (Patrice), Patrick (Yvette) Derbas and Jeffrey and Brian Miller; great-aunt to four nieces. Visitation Saturday, December 29th, at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 6434 S. Kilbourn in Duggan Hall from 10:30 am until funeral Mass at 11:30 am. lnurnment immediately following at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL. Please omit flowers. Memorial donations may be made in Ruth Ann's memory to Food Pantries or your favorite charity. Arrangements by KUBINA-TYBOR DIRECTORS, 773-523-2191.

I am very sorry for your loss. Ruth Ann was my first principal when I started my teaching career at St. Mary of Celle in Berwyn. I have many fond memories of my time there with her. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

We were so sorry to hear of Ruth Ann's passing. We have many great memories of working with her on various St. Clare projects. Her great sense of humor and hard work ethic are to be admired. We will miss her.
