Alexander Remish, age 95, Holocaust survivor. Loving husband of Anita Remish, nee Sack for 61 years. Cherished father of Steven (Nancy) Remish and Daniel (Barbara) Remish. Adored grandfather of Nicole, Michael, Lauren, Matthew, Madeline, Emma and Nickolas. Dear brother of the late Ignacy Remish and the late Roman Remish. Service Tuesday 10 AM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. Interment Waldheim Jewish Cemetery. Dearest Anita, Steve, and Dan...
We have been in New York and just got word about Alex. He will always live in my memory as a passionate, strong willed survivor with a delicious sense of humor, quick wit and hearty laugh. A strong feature in my childhood. Extraordinary man. Remishes you were always part of my family. So very sorry not to b there with you at this time. Love and condolences to you all. Will call when home on 15th.

Amy, Steve Ariel and Gabriel Elizer remember Alex fondly and lovingly. He was a dear man with a simply wonderful sense of humor! He graced our table many times to share holiday meals and laughter. He will be missed very much by our entire family. May his memory be for a blessing.
