Peter Skinger Obituary

Peter Andrew Skinger, age 69, peacefully passed away at his home in Petoskey, MI, on February 11, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Chris, of 41 years and children, Bart, Alex (Monika), Scott (Amy), Amy, Christopher (Amanda) Skinger and Betsy (Jeff) Janicki. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren. As a student of the first graduating class of Rich Central High School, he proceeded on to NIU, where he earned his degree in Accounting. He was a member of the wrestling team in both high school and college. Pete retired in 2009, and moved to Petoskey, MI, after a long career as a CPA in Matteson, IL. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., at Heartland Memorial Center, 7151 183rd St., Tinley Park.
