Esther Chakos nee Nickitopoulos. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Stavros Chakos. Loving mother of Joanne and the late Steve. Dear sister of the late Penny Leider. Sister-in-law of Bill (Stephanie) Leider. Fond aunt of Mary (David) McGowan, Cindy Leider, Arietta Manolakis, Ava (Brian) Edgar, and Arrietta Chakos. Great aunt of Rose, Sean, Kathleen, Katharine, Alex and Sophia. Family and friends will meet Friday morning at Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church 2501 S. Wolf Rd., Westchester, IL 60154 for visitation from 9:30am until time of funeral service at 10:00am. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. I was both tom and esther's caregiver at one point ...I'm so sad to hear about the passing of them both . They were the two sweetest people you could ever met . I'm so glad i got to meet them for the short time that i did . condolences to the family and friends
