To the family of Cap Adams,
Please accept my deepest, most heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your husband, father, brother and grandfather, Cap Adams; a gentleman whose caliber of character and high integrity was noticed and respected by those who paths he crossed. To quote a former Burnetter; “He was one of the good guys.”.
While progressing through the ranks at Leo Burnett and during his CEO tenure, Cap remained humble and never lost his playful sense of humor. Cap was well-liked, well-respected and loved by many Burnetters and Clients of Burnett; a very wise, kind and thoughtful human being. Cap was a man’s man, with a fun-loving sense of humor and quick wit; however, when it came to business, he was no-nonsense.
A good man has just left this earth and has found a place of perfect peace we can only imagine. We will never see the likes of a Cap Adams anytime soon. Rest in Paradise Cap, knowing you were loved by many and will be missed by all who knew you

Hall and Christie, So sorry for your loss of this great man and Garey Symingtons best friend. He was there for us when our dad passed and helped my mom through a really rough time. First Class all the way and a true Champion! My thoughts and prayers are with with you and know he is with my day playing golf and gin rummy and cocktails of course what an awesome Man! You should be so proud!

So sorry to hear of Cap's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Cap when he was running the Philip Morris business, and I had creative responsibilities for Virginia Slims, and later, Marlboro. He was certainly one of the great leaders in Burnett's storied history...and beyond that, just a very humble, down-to-earth guy.

Kathy ... Carol and I mentioned Caps name yesterday cause it was July 4, certainly not knowing of him passing to join Leo, Paul Day and far too many others to count. We love you, Kathy.
Xoxoxo Carol and Don Gwaltney.
