James Kaniff Obituary

James (Jim) Kaniff, of Lisle, passed away on Friday, December 16th from complications of Parkinson's disease. James was born in Chicago, IL on October 6th, 1935. He married Carol Seidel on October 7, 1961 in Chicago, IL. He was highly successful Salesman employed by Allstate Insurance for over 30 years . Dad approached life with humor and optimism. Jim always gave a stranger the benefit of the doubt, was quick to laugh, and will be missed by those who loved him as well as those who were just lucky enough to know him. James is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Carol (Seidel) Kaniff, his three loving sons; Patrick (Amy); Tom & Jack, and his granddaughter Olivia Kaniff, whom he loved so much. Memorial gifts may be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation. The family of James Kaniff wishes to extend sincere thanks to the caregivers at Alden Estates of Northmoor.
