I had Mrs. Marcyniuk my junior year as my AP History teacher. I wasn't like the rest of the usual AP crowd and wasn't as close to her as a lot of her former students were, but I still appreciated her teaching and her passion for her students. After deciding to become a history major in college I can trace back the fostering and nurturing of my interest in the subject to her. I'm forever grateful to having her my junior year, and for her efforts in making me realize my love of history.

Katia -

You touched my life as a child by being my Mentor as I went through jr. high and high school. You taught me the importance of giving back to our community and celebrating our roots. Thank you for encouraging me and pushing me to be involved in academic and civic organizations and for challenging me at young age with projects and responsibilities at church and Saturday School. Thank you for the years that you drove me back and forth to Saturday School along with your own two children and all the enlightening conversations and discussions we had along the way on the Kennedy. I am really proud of you for going back to college and getting your graduate degree - and then using your talent and enthusiasm to help shape the minds of so many youth in your role as a high school teacher. You will be truly missed. I am really blessed to have had you in my life.
