WE WOULD TRADE JOKES WITH EACH OTHER AND HE USUALLY WON.

Oh the memories of his laugh that would start with a rising heh and soar to a boom. Birthdays and New Years Eve parties at their house with exotic foods (at least at the time) like trays of cold cuts, pizza, and dark chocolate. Hanging out at Trade and Travel in the garage while cars were being worked on, crawling over the back seats into the driver's seat imagining flying down the road. Being given a dollar to get french fries at the Big Boy on the corner. Going to the swimming pool in their gigantic car that had air conditioning! A Cadillac if memory serves. The time we went camping and Flo lost her diamond ring in the lake - the utter joy when Mary Ann (Wally's wife) found it walking back and forth wiggling toes as she went. Thought Olaf would crush her in his bear hug. Then Wally's car died and we took turns pushing it most of the way back to Illinois at night so it could get fixed at TNT. Such memories of such a wondrous man and his family. Blessings always.

The world lost a very kind and thoughtful man. My condolences to the family, as he will be missed. My uncle Johnny Olejniczak always had the highest level or praise for Olaf. I shall have a special prayer for him. May Gold bless.

So saddened by this news. He lived a wonderful life and will be missed greatly by many. Just seeing or thinking about Olaf put a smile on your face. He Always had a kind word to say and a hug for the kids. Our girls would see him come home from work and go running to him!! Forever grateful for that! Thoughts and prayers to the family.
Love, Scott and Jackie Eckstein.
