I am sorry for the loss of Mr. Hart. I watched every shot of his Azalea Open playoff against Phil Rodgers. I remember he came back to Wilmington every year until the Azalea Open finished in 1971. People always remembered him. He was very cordial. A couple of years ago, he signed a picture for me from the 65 Azalea. Again, I am sorry for you loss.

Carole and I certainly miss the good ole times of sitting around with Dick, Terry Carlson, Dick Lancioni and John Cleland each telling one story after another and laughing so hard you had a side ache. I was privledged to play many competitive rounds of golf with Dick. My fondest memory was the second round at Elgin CC in Dick's last ILL OPEN victory, when he bogeyed our first hole and proceeded to shoot 65. He was a wonderful country club professional and tremendous player of the game. He will be greatly missed.

Our deepest condolences to the family. Mr. Dick was an amazing man. He was so humble about his accomplishments. We had to pull the stories out of him. One day we googled his name and printed out many pages. Mr. Dick did not want to look at it. He just mumbled somthing.
We loved him very much and will miss seeing him in his chair. That will always be Mr. Dick chair.
