Angela Luludakis, 53, at rest May 1, 2010. Beloved daughter of the late James and Christine Luludakis, nee Kopoulos; loving sister of Catherine (James "Dimo") Dussias; cherished aunt of Dino (Michelle) and Jim Dussias and great-aunt of Demi, Christian and Zachary; loving godmother of Eleni, Kourtney and Aveia; loving niece of the late James (Mauretta) Kopoulos; dearly loved cousin of Niko and Dani. Angela will be missed by many other dearly loves relatives and friends. In addition to flowers, memorials in Angela's name can be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m. at Hills Funeral Home, Ltd., 10201 S. Roberts Rd. (8000W) Palos Hills. Funeral Wednesday, kindly meet directly at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church (11025 S. Roberts Rd. - Palos Hills, IL 60465) for services at 10 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. "May Her Memory Be Eternal" Info. 708-598-5880. I only knew Angie for a couple of years in junior high but she and I remained in contact into our young adult years. She was such a good girl but together we created a lot of mischief and I always think of her on Halloween. As well as other times. Here I am, almost 62, and she still remains Vivid in my mind and in my heart.

For some reason Angie came into my thoughts today and I just wanted to express how deeply sad I am that I will never hear that wonderful laugh again or see that beautiful smiling face. She touched my life the same way she touched so many others, and I will never ever forget her. Love you Angie!!!

I only knew Angie for a couple of years when we were in 6th and 7th grade, but she was the only bright spot in a very difficult time in my life. We kept in touch after I left Oak Park until our early 20s, then life happened and we only talked a couple of times after that.
Hoping I might reconnect through the internet I Googled her name and was so saddened to find she had passed away.
I am so sorry for this great loss to all those who loved her and wish she had remained part of my life.

I met Angie in second grade, and we went through grade school and the first few years of high school together. She was one of the dearest souls I knew from those years, always cheerful, never an unkind word about anyone. Although we did not stay in touch after high school, I remember her very fondly and am very saddened to hear of her passing. This world didn't need to lose her. Rest in peace, dear Angie.

I am so saddened to hear of Angie's passing. She was such a bright and dynamic lady. I only had the opportunity to actually work together with her a few times however, I always enjoyed meeting and hanging out with her at our annual Museum's conference. It seemed everyone knew Angie (or had certainly heard of her!) My deepest sympathies to her loving family as you struggle with your profound loss.

I had known Angela for many years as a vendor for the company I worked for. She was the nicest person even when things were difficult to handle. I will miss talking with her. May she rest in peace.

I am sorry that I could not make it to celebrate the life of Angie. When I have thought about her in the past days, I realize what an empowering woman she was. She was always happy when I saw her; always smiling. I hope you and your family can get through the tough times ahead. To able to look back and see how amazing of a woman she really was and be happy like she’d always when I saw her.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Angie's passing. Cathy, I am sorry I was unable to express my condolences in person. I will always remember Angie so fondly. She was such a delightful person and will be sadly missed. God has eased her suffering now. Cathy, Dimo and family, it's my hope that time will ease your grief and that you may find comfort in all those great memories you shared (I'm sure there are volumes). Cathy and family,
I am deeply saddened to hear of Angela's passing. I was kept informed of her illness through Greg and I hoped that she would somehow pull through.
I enjoyed the few times that I spent with her at family functions and was truly touched when she called me when I was going through my own illness.
I will miss her and her beautiful smile and unique laugh. She was such a wonderful person to be around with her positive outlook on life.

So sorry, and very saddened, at the loss of Angie. She was a unique lady who was always up for a round of golf, going to a Sox game with "the guys", or even heading down to Houston to see one of her nephew's buddies get married! Goes without saying that she was taken way too early, and our prayers go out to her ENTIRE family.
While times are tough now, hopefully everyone realizes how lucky we were to have her. If you are family, who doesn't want a wacky Aunt like Ang? If you were lucky enough to be her friend, you quickly realized how much she loved, and needed, her family. She truly was one of a kind, and after her battle we all know that she is now in a better place.
Thoughts and prayers out, especially, to the family. Now, more than ever, it's time to group together and reflect on all of the great times shared with Angie. We're sorry we can't make it in for the wake/funeral, but we will certainly be there in spirit.

My heart just aches at this news. I think I met Angela in kindergarten. Through the years she has always been fondly remembered and now sadly will always be missed. I'm so very grateful I was a person who was lucky enough to have known Angela. She will always live in my heart.

Ang, you will not be forgotten. You and the girls made quite the impression on my little ones on your trip to California. We had so much fun in Beverly Hills- shopping,Venice beach-pumping iron and strutting our stuff and of course George Burns in Vegas. My memories of dear Angie remain forever, as my sister Pat Williams' best friend, and maid of honor at her wedding 20 years ago, and each and every occasion since then. Angie's vibrant smile, infectious laughter and beautiful spirit of femininity and grace, delighted us all. I pray for Angie, and mourn her suffering, passing and our mutual loss.
