THOMAS KULLY Obituary
Thomas Ross Kully, age 70. Beloved husband for 46 years to Sandra, nee Turek; loving father of Debbie and Jon; cherished grandfather of Andrew and Alex; dear brother of Bob (Connie) and the late Bill (Leslie) Kully; fond uncle, cousin and friend to many. He loved and gained much satisfaction from his work as a research analyst and hedge fund manager at William Blair, William Harris, and Railsplitter. He dedicated himself to his community-Jewish Vocational Services,the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation,the Anti-Defamation League, and the Israeli Policy Forum among other charitable organizations. In these and other ways, he took care of so many people with much generosity and love. Service Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, 1:30 p.m. at Temple Sholom of Chicago, 3480 N. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 811 W. Evergreen Ave.,Suite 204, Chicago, IL 60642-2642. Dear Sandi, Debbie & Jon,
Bob has kept us posted on Tom's illness, but we didn't realize how bad it has been the past few months.
I recall the many dinners at Carolyn and JM for the holidays with the Kully boys and Newman clans all together.
Tom was a wonderful husband and father. We hope you will see better times in the future.
