My mother Fae Hamblen was married to Ed in 1982 for a few years. I had called him today to tell him she is in her last days. I had no idea he had passed away. Mother loved him very much and kept his photo at her bedside all of these years. When she was at her worst in Dec, she told me she still loved him and wished things had been different. I will miss him, his talent and the many kindnesses he showed me when I lost a son. His beautiful paintings are hung all over our home with some very sweet memories of years past. Chester,Maria,& family, I am so sorry for your loss. Fondly, Nancye

I have fond memories of being with Marcia and Eddie, singing at Maria's wedding and Marcia's memorial service. There are times when I look at Marcia's shalom sign over my door or see one of Eddie's paintings that I just stand in awe at the two of them--and then I smile. I'm certain that Maria and Chester and their families will miss Eddie, but know their memories will be as vivid as mine.
