Rest easy Mo. Think about you a lot man. Me , Moody, and the whole Norman gang miss you. I remember those wild days in the 90s just like they were yesterday.
I just dont know what to say anymore about your passing. Guess we all thought that we were all invincible and would be around forever. Were all much older now and reminisce about the good old days. Wish you could share the stories with us. Keep looking out for us up there. Tell Damon Brice I said whats up. Hes another warrior that left us way too soon. Much love and peace always brother.

The Moddrell family is a "tight" family. A family that loves one another. This is wonderful in times like these. There will be no replacing Johnny. He was an original who influenced in a positive manner all who were fortunate enough to have spent time with him. I worked with Johnny and his family for one of the most rewarding years of my life. Indeed, the Moddrells' have something special for those spending time with them.

Damn, I am going to miss John. He was a great competitor, loving Father, and genuinely caring man.Little John will carry his legacy. He and his little sister are there to remind the Moddrell's of John. Thank God for that small favor.

I can't say goodbye to John. He lives!

I Choose To Remember

I Choose To Remember
The smile on your face,
The sound of your laughter,
Your warm embrace.

I Choose To Remember
The touch of your hand,
Your love for your children,
Your family and friends.

I Choose To Remember
Though you're no longer here,
The gentleness of a friend,
So treasured and dear.

I Choose To Remember
Not sorrow and tears,
But the people you've touched,
Throughout your short years.

I Choose to Remember,
I'll never regret,
The man I called "Friend",
I know I'll never forget.

There are no easy answers to the questions you must have. Clearly the loss is greater than anything else. Our prayers are with the family, as John is no longer in need of them. May you have comfort in the fact that John is finally at peace, free from all human afflictions. With deep regret, and a prayer that somehow something good will come of this.

Hi Johnny:

Mom and I miss you so much. It's been 32 days since mom got to see you and talk to you. She said you were having such a terrible time trying to breathe she finally took to the emergency room.

I haven't seen you or talked to you for 34 days. I remember we sat at the counter and talked about that new job you were sure you would get with lots more money and fun people to work with. The guy left a message on your phone Friday and said, "John, you're it, call me." I'm so sorry you never got that message.

Mom and I sit around the counter every night and talk about you and all the good times. We laugh and cry and miss you so much! We love you
