Dorothy Alice Douglas Obituary
Her parents, James and Mincie Boyett, her husband, Arivl J. Douglas, a granddaughter, Candi Douglas and a grandson, Matthew Douglas, precede her in death.
Survivors include four sons, Dennis Boyette and wife Kimberly of Vernon, James Douglas of Alford, Ricky Douglas and wife Betsy of Jackson, Ala. and Sean Douglas of Alford; four daughters, Gloria Douglas of Leroy, Ala. Brenda Neel of Marianna, Mary Hill and husband Scott of Dothan, Ala., and Brandi Purvis of Alford; three brothers Jimmy Boyett and wife Frankie of Vernon, Billy Boyett and wife Denise of Vernon and Benny Boyett of Round Lake; one sister, Laura Brewer of Vernon; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held May 23 in the Liberty Church in Vernon with the Rev. Dennis Boyett officiating. Interment followed in the Alford Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
