Fredrick Allen Douglas

FREDERICK ALLEN DOUGLAS age 86 of Crossville, TN passed away April 23, 2025. He was born June 24, 1938, in Marshall, IL, the son of Thurman and Mabel McCullough Douglas. He retired after many years with Ford Motor Company and later worked with the Cumberland County School System for several more. He was of the Baptist faith.

He loved to coon hunt and won many trophies in competitions throughout his life. He loved his family and will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife- Shirley Douglas of Crossville, TN, children- Tamara Martin and her husband Joseph of Mt. Juliet, TN, Janice Bant and her husband Charles of Murray, KY, Dwayne Scott Douglas of Griffith, IN, James Douglas of Murray, KY and Tabitha Randolph, Wanda Fish and her husband Marty and Marlin Frazier all of Crossville, TN, sister- Faye Keefer of Marshall, IL, twenty grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son- Raymond Allen Douglas, granddaughter- Danielle Douglas sister- Clara Ann Forster, Clarence Thomas Douglas and James Arnold Douglas.

Funeral services will be held, Monday April 28, 2025, at 1pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday April 27, 2025, from 5pm-7pm at the funeral home. His burial will be in Smith's Chapel Cemetery.
