Thomas Karl Obituary
Tom was born on November 22, 1947, in Norwalk, CT, to Maurice and Margaret Karl and came to this area in 2002 from San Jose, CA. He served our country in the United States Army in Vietnam. Tom was a journeyman model maker and manager in the semiconductor industry. He was a member of the Inverness Dog Kennel Club, enjoying dog trials specifically of agility and rally with his Corgis, Candy and Taffee. He loved traveling in his R.V. and golfing. He was a generous man who gave of his time and talent to help his neighbors.
His survivors include his wife of 40 years, Sherry Karl, Hernando; his mother, Margaret Karl, Norwalk, CT; three brothers, Robert Karl and Mark (Gail) Karl, all of Norwalk, CT, and Gary (Lisa) Karl, Phenix, VA; his sister, Ruthanne Karl, CT, and his loving Corgis, Candy and Taffee, and his Dutch Shepherd, Callie. He was preceded in death by his father, Maurice Karl, in 2004.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Tom's memory to Hospice of Citrus County, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464 or charity of your choice.

I just heard of Tom's passing this weekend. I worked with Tom at Hitachi
Instruments in San Jose, Ca. I have great respect for him and admired how calm he was under pressure. He told me that work wasn't stressfull. He said "having bullets flying over you head in Vietnam" was stressfull. I'll never forget that comment, and it still helps me deal with stress today! Thanks Tom! God Bless You! (Rick Lima)

We are so deeply saddened to hear of Tom's passing. My husband, Ryan, worked with Tom at Hitachi and we lived near Tom & Sherry in San Jose, CA, and shared many good times together with them. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to his family. We are so sorry Tom passed away at auch an early age. We love you, Sherry.

I am very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I am glad I stopped to see him at his mothers last summer. I was looking forward to seeing him again this summer. Many of my childhood memory's include the Karl's.
