COURTS

Gordon L., Beloved husband of the late M. Lucille Courts for over 50 years. Loving father of Joseph W. (Monica O'Connell) Courts and the late David S. Courts. Loving grandfather of Stacey Angel, Laura Courts and Dana Connatser Courts. Dear brother of Mary F. Courts. Also, survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013, at the age of 80. Gordon graduated from Madeira High School (1950) and received a degree from the University of Cincinnati (1968). He retired from GE Aircraft Engines in 1991 after more than forty years of service. Friends may call at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Rd. (Rt. 42) West Chester, OH 45069 on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM. Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery in Springdale, will follow the service. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association

I couldn't help but notice and remember this name from way back, when I too worked at my very first job at GE.........I was in Stationary Supply and Gordon Courts and Chick Carmichael worked there also. Your father was a cute red head with dimples! Seeing his name brought back fond memories of us all working there in our younger years. Please accept my Sincere Sympathy on the loss of your parents.
