George CUNNINGHAM Obituary

CUNNINGHAM George G. Jr., age 75, a resident of Fairfield, passed away Monday, September 3, 2001 at Hospice of Cincinnati, Hamilton. Inpatient at Sunrise Assisted Living. George was born on December 27, 1925 in Cincinnati, OH, the son of George G. and Marguerite (Distler) Cunningham. On May 16, 1953 he married Marjorie Lewis in Hamilton, OH at the North 7th Street Church of Christ. George was a WW II and Korean War Veteran. He was a Deacon and member of the Fairfield Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Cunningham; one son, George G. Cunningham III and his wife Mary Kay of Mason, OH; one daughter, Toni Snyder and her husband Rod Snyder of Libby, MT; two grandchildren, Aaron David and Anna Marie Snyder; one brother, Paul A. Cunningham of Mason, OH; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend "Shadow' their cat. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Peggy Hubbard. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 7, 2001 at 10:30 A.M. at the Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield with David Hargrave, Ray Jones, and Doug Smith officiating. Visitation is Thursday, September 6, 2001 from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Fairfield Church of Christ, 745 Symmes Road, Fairfield, OH 45014 or Hospice of Cincinnati, Hamilton Inpatient Unit, 896 NW Washington Blvd., Hamilton, OH 45013.
