I didn't know John personally, but I listened to him for many years on the radio. He had a great insight to the news and I enjoyed his broadcasts. Our prayers go out to the family.

Sandy
I was so sorry to learn of John's passing. John was such a good person.
It has been while since I have seen you both. I do think of you often.
I recently got out of the hospital and will not be able to the service. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
I hope I can visit with you shortly to pay my respects and show my support.
God Bless
Al Scott

Dear Sandy and family, We give you our sympathy for your loss and ours, as friends. John was a wonderful, caring and fun person. Our memories of dominos and casino trips are a few of the joys we all shared together as friends. I believe John is enjoying another group of friends and family until we all meet up with him, again.

John was one of the nicest persons I'll ever know. Since getting reconnected as classmates at Aiken I've had the privilege of getting to know him more than before. A small group of Aiken guys would meet for lunch once every month and enjoy a lot of great memories and laughs. The last meeting was in my home a coupld of weeks ago and John was able to make it despite his illness and exhaustion. It was bittersweet as he certainly had obvious issues with his illness. But, it's a memory I'll lock away and treasure forever. I will miss him and pray his family gets some peace and comfort in this difficult time.
John, you were loved by many and that will never change.
May God bless you and keep you in His hands.
