Stadtmiller, Samuel
Whitmore Lake, MI
His Legacy Samuel George Stadtmiller, 49, passed away June 10, 2025. He was born on July 20, 1975, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Douglas Stadtmiller and Pamela (Pahl) Stadtmiller. Sam was a dedicated Eagle Scout in his youth and was responsible for installing the American flag at the Northfield Township Library. Sam graduated from Whitmore Lake High School with honors. He was active in the drama department, participating in many high school plays. Sam was also an athlete and ran track and cross country; he received an athlete scholar award. After high school, he graduated from Michigan State with honors, with a degree in business. He was the manager for 3 offices at Enterprise and his coworkers loved his sweet, caring nature and his "nice guy" demeanor. At one time he was the sales director for a senior living community in New York. He was well loved there and took extra time to spend with the residents. Sam loved music, he played piano and guitar and was lucky enough to see Michael Jackson in concert. He loved to travel and had a friend group that he often traveled and camped with. Sam was very personable and had a lot of close friends. He loved bowling, playing darts, swimming, playing cards with friends and online gaming. Sam was an excellent cook and made great use out of the cookbooks that he received from his grandmother. He was an animal lover and had 2 cats that would follow him everywhere. Life took him away from home for many years, but he moved back home to Michigan 3 years ago and his family is so grateful to have had the extra time with him. Sam loved spending time with his family and recently vacationed in Hilton Head, South Carolina with his parents where many wonderful memories were made. Sam was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
His Family Sam will be greatly missed by his parents, Douglas and Pamela Stadtmiller; brother, Scott Stadtmiller; grandmother, Barbara Cryderman; numerous cousins; and several aunts and uncles.
His Farewell Sam's family and friends will gather Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 4:00PM-6:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. His Memorial Service will follow at 6:00PM. Pastor Dan Quagliata will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to Michigan Humane Society, Alcoholics Anonymous or NAMI Livingston. Sam will be so dearly missed. He has been a friend since kindergarten, and though life took us in different directions for a bit, I'm so grateful that we were able to reconnect these last few years. He could always bring a smile to my face. His laughter, kind-spiritedness, and affability will live in our hearts forever. -- Jennifer Germaine
