REED

Jack Carlton Reed, beloved husband of the late Mary Elizabeth (nee Grace) Reed; loving father of David C. (Angela) Reed of Cincinnati, Jody C.(James) Flatt of Colorado Springs, and Tim (Barbara) Reed of Cincinnati, and loving grandfather to Erin (Tom) Geaghan, Colleen, Quillan and August Reed; Rachael Flatt; and, Scott and Matt Reed. Brother of the late Betty Lou Reed. Brother-in-law to Lila (nee Grace) and Jack Greer of Scottsdale, and to Kelly and John Grace of Kalamazoo. USAF veteran, University of Cincinnati graduate, long time member of IEEE, participated and volunteered for many local Anderson Township activities, as well as participating in the mentor program in the Forest Hills School District. Passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2011, from complications of cancer at the Hospice of Cincinnati at the age 82 years. Resident of Anderson Township. A private interment was held at Hillside Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to "Anderson High School General Scholarship Fund": Memo: The Jack and Mary Reed Next Level Scholarship; Anderson High School, attn: Eileen Birk, 7560 Forest Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45255. A "Celebration of Life" event will be held later this summer. Fares J. Radel Funeral Home serving the family.
