Diane Lewis Reed, 85, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Franklin Grove Nursing Home in Franklin Grove, Illinois.
She was born March 2, 1941, in Hibbing, Minnesota, the daughter of Richard and Eleanor (Albertson) Armstrong. Diane married Ramon Kline, with whom she had three children. She later married Jerry Reed in 1978; he preceded her in death in 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Richard Armstrong; and sister-in-law, Donna Armstrong.
Diane is survived by her son, Ken (Tierney) Kline of Pleasant Plain, Iowa; two daughters, Allyson (Mitch) Pencil of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Leslie Parker of Rochelle, Illinois. She is also survived by one brother, Jeff (Nancy) Armstrong of Onalaska, Wisconsin.
Her memory will be cherished by her grandchildren, Andrew (Jordan) Pencil, Alex (Ashly) Pencil, Kalvin Parker, Kellee Parker, Noah Kline, and Luke Kline; and three great-grandchildren, Sutton Pencil, Iylie Pencil, and Zaylee Masias.
There will be no services in Rochelle. Burial will take place in Wisconsin at a later date.
