Mr. Merriweather, it saddens me to say goodbye to one of God's true angels. You touched a lot of peoples hearts, especially my father and mother, John and Jessie Ramsey, your next door neighbors. While I was stationed over in Germany the past 35 years, you took care of my parents, and they held you in the highest of regards. When my dad lost his sight in 2002, you was there. When they needed a ride to their doctor's appointments, you was there. When dad needed the grass cut, you was there. When I finally came home in January 2017, to take care of my parents, you was there. When my mother passed away on May 15th, this year, once again, you was there. Words cannot express how my heart aches for your loved ones. You are truly a work of art, and will be missed. Believe me when I say, you were truly loved by all that knew you. Take Care, God Bless, and please give my mom a great big hug, and kiss on the cheek from my dad and me. Rest In Peace my friend!

To the Family of Robert E. Merriweather
To my dear friend, brother and buddy; I will miss your jokes, smile, laughter & kindness toward me. Your never ending support during my & my family's times of sorrow. I will miss laughing at & with you, when I think about your love for potato soup & bean soup. You loved your beans !! (smile) I will miss the many conversations we shared about the word of God (first) and our families (second) and so many other subjects. God smiled on you like you smiled on & with so many of us. This is a sad moment for many, however, it's a happy time also, yet we express our joyful love to you at this moment in time. As I come to a close, the memory of who you are and how you touched the lives of so many people will never be forgotten.
Much Love to you B.O.B.

Mr. Bob was a stellar businessman and inspiration in my community. I would drive a little further to support black owned businesses. He always had good advice to share with you and a big smile. May his family find comfort during this time with the memories he created.

Deacon Bob was my Sunday School teacher. He had such a sence of humor. Deacon Bob was a true man of God and a diligent servant for the Lord. We miss him already. May God comfort his family and church family.
