Robert Allen "Bob" Larson

Fletcher - Robert Allen "Bob" Larson, 73, of Fletcher, passed away on Tuesday, August 27th. Originally from Milroy, MN, he spent the majority of his professional career as a math and biology teacher and administrator for the Department of Defense Dependents Schools overseas. His assignments included Johnson American High School, Japan; Feltwell American Junior High School, United Kingdom; Ansbach American High School; Karlsruhe American High School; Berlin American High School; H.H. Arnold American High School in Wiesbaden; Hanau American Middle School; Munich American High School, and Bad Aibling American School in Germany.

As the son of a teacher and a musician, he played the oboe and bassoon from a young age. As an adult he enjoyed hiking, skiing, and wildlife watching. His hobbies also included building and repairing clocks, and repairing small engines and motors. Known for his earthy sense of humor, Bob especially enjoyed chuckling through episodes of the TV show, "Seinfeld".

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Emilie; his son, Brent Larson; his daughter, Rhonda Larson; his grandson, Thomas Larson; his brother, David Larson, and his sister, Marge Kyser.

The family wishes to thank CarePartners Hospice Services, and Mr. Bob Huber for his kindness and warm counsel.
