Kendall Hubbard Obituary

TECUMSEH- Kendall L. Hubbard, 66, of Tecumseh, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2006. He was born on November 19, 1939 in Hugo, OK, the son of Roy U. and R. Odell Maddox Hubbard. He had resided in the Tecumseh community for the past 26 years. He served in the Oklahoma National Guard. Kendall was a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association. He owned and operated Hubbard Racing Stable and was a member of Operating Engineers Local Union No. 101 in Kansas City, MO. Kendall married Carol L. Childers. She survives. Other survivors include one son, Keith R. Hubbard and his wife, Mary Ann of Tecumseh, one daughter, Leah G. Hubbard and her husband, Mike Ogden of Topeka, three beloved grandchildren, Rayna, Keaton and Bailey, one brother, Roy Dell Hubbard of Yuma, AZ, and one sister, Linda South of Salida, CO. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Walnut View Christian Church, 3634 S.E. 37th St. Burial will follow in Emmanuel Cemetery southeast of Topeka. Kendall will lie in state after Noon Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to Walnut View Christian Church, 3634 S.E. 37th St., Topeka, KS 66605.
