Michael David Koci

AUBURN- Michael David Koci, 43, Auburn, died Tuesday in a Topeka Hospital. He was born October 31, 1961, at Topeka, the son of Donald H. and Shirley M. Broom Koci. He graduated from Auburn High School in 1981. Mr. Koci was employed as a truck driver for Martin Tractor. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and also enjoyed gardening and cooking. He married Tina Marie Oldham, October 3, 2004 at Wakefield, Kansas. She survives at the home. Other survivors include: Parents Donald and Shirley Koci, Auburn; two brothers, Donald Koci Jr. and his wife Ann, Auburn, Randy Koci and his wife Rhonda, Topeka; a step- daughter of the home, Kari Mae Kristina Walters, Auburn; three step-children, Jessica, Gina, and Timothy Walters, Linwood; a step-grand child, Noah Fleshman, Linwood; six nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the Auburn Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery. Mr. Koci will lie in state from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, at Auburn Presbyterian Church, where the family will meet with friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
