Terry - Dorothy Davis Toole, 95, died Thursday, January 09, 2020 at home

A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 13, 2020 at Spring Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Monday at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland.

Mrs. Toole was born on January 4, 1925 in Hinds County, MS to the late Ernest Ward Davis and Carrie Lewis Davis. After attending Draughn's Business College, she worked in the freight office at Illinois Central Railroad, She then married William Scott Toole, after returning from WWII.

She was a longtime member of Lakeshore Congregational Methodist Church.

Mrs. Toole is preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, William Scott Toole; brothers, Nelon Davis, Lewis Davis, Sidney Davis and sister Carolyn Davis.

Survivors include: daughters, Cindy Edwards (Bob) of Danville, IL; Terry Thompson of Terry, MS; grandchildren, Melissa Rogers (Walt) of Madison; Jason Thompson, Ridgeland; great grandchildren, Madeline Claire Rogers, Anna Katherine Rogers; William Courts Rogers; step grandchildren, Chad Edwards of Aurora, IL; and Darren Edwards of Carrollton, GA.
