Henry Gandy, 91, passed away February 12, 2016 at Pine Crest Guest Home in Hazlehurst. Visitation will be 10am-11am Monday at First Baptist Church, Hazlehurst. Services will be 11am Monday at First Baptist Church, Hazlehurst with burial at Hazlehurst Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Gandy was a native of Leesville, LA. He retired after 32 years of being a cable repairman for the telephone company. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and First Baptist Church, Hazlehurst. Mr. Gandy was a Master Mason and a member of Lodge #25. He loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Gandy; daughter, Susan McNeil and husband Tal of Hazlehurst; son, Billy Goodman and wife Janiece of Blessing, TX; grandchildren, Mollie Hamilton, Anna McNeil, Ian McNeil, Brad Goodman, Joey Goodman, Stephanie Goodman and Justin Goodman; and 6 great grandchildren.
