Jim Neal spoke for me when I ran for the state Legislature. He introduced me to the Supreme Court when I was admitted to the bar. He also introduced me to his wonderful wife, Dianne. I was awed by him always; yet always comfortable in his presence. A true giant has passed.

I met James F. Neal 37 years ago. To be in a room with him, you could feel the power. He used it for good. He make a mark and will be missed. RIP.
