I was his niece Kendall, and I remember going to the outer banks with him and playing on the beach. Miss him lots as I know my aunt does too.

Don and I worked together at Waypoint. While I am in another state, it was both a privilege and a pleasure to work with him on food shows. He was always a professional and knew his customers. I am very sorry to hear this sad news and will keep his family in my thoughts during the coming difficult weeks.

I knew Don through our mutual relationship with WAYPOINT. I a supplier and he one of the Reps I worked with. Don was always an up beat guy with a big smile. I always had a great time with him at the Food shows we attended together. He was full of insight and had a passion for what he did. I am saddend to hear of his sudden passing and will miss him. gods peace be with his family through this trying time.

A very sad loss. Don was always a joy to be around, with his smile and laugh, genuine company, never critical or contemptuous of others with his calm demeanor. He was a great listener and an easy conversationalist. Don, you leave us with great memories and a good example to follow. R.I.P.

I met Don in the Fall of 1982 while I was rushing the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. He was one of the first guys I met. He opened his fridge and offered me a beer and he said to me, “What’s mine is yours.” That is all I ever needed to know about Don. Over the next 38 years he never wavered from that philosophy. He had a kind and generous soul. I will truly miss his spirit. Rest In Peace brother.

Don and I spent a lot of time together during the high school years. He was a great athlete and non-stop fun. Sad day.

It is difficult to express how deep our sadness is at hearing this news. All we can do is reach out to his wife and family and hope that the warm and wonderful memories of his love for them help them through this difficult time. Like Donna even said, "how could anybody forget his smile and laughter".

Went to BGSU with Don and remember him as a quality individual. I am truly sorry his life was cut short
