EDGAR FOX Obituary

90, of Westlake, Ohio, died peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2020 at home with his wife, caregiver, and Brookdale Hospice by his side. Born to parents Harry L. and Dorothy Fox, Ross went to Shaw High School. After graduating he enlisted in the Marine Corp and proudly served during the Korean War. He then returned home and attended Baldwin Wallace College, where he received his bachelor's degree. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Kane) for 34 years; loving father of Cynthia Fairchild (Bob) and Dale R. Fox; devoted grandfather to Jenna Lee Fairchild; caring stepfather to Debra Ellis (Scott) and Jeffrey Jewhurst (Trudy); dearest brother to Patricia Rafferty; special uncle to Jerry Kurtz (Sue), Kathy Stark (Guy) and the late John Kurtz (Lynn). Ross also cared deeply for his niece and nephews' children and his step-daughter and step-sons children. Ross and Patricia lived in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, for 30 years prior to coming back to Ohio. They had many friends there and loved to surf fish. Ross's kindness and gentleness was the epitome of the man he was. He will be greatly missed. Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Date and time to be determined.
