Clifton McKee Obituary

Clifton E. McKee, 62, passed away Friday, July 17, at his home in Kennett Square, Pa.
Born in Pritchett, Ala., to James McKee and Dessie Norton McKee, Clifton served as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam conflict until he was honorably discharged in 1970.
Clifton was a member of the American Legion Post 491 and VFW Post 8984 in Kennett Square. He enjoyed fixing cars and was an avid sports fan.
He is survived by his companion of 12 years, Cynthia Campbell; five children, Clifford Warren, Terrell McKee and Tiffaney McKee, all of Pennsylvania, Lakeeissa (Audie) King of Virginia and Tramainn McKee of Delaware; stepdaughter, Lashannea McKee of Washington, D.C.; stepson, Tyrone Campbell of Hinesville; mother, Dessie McKee of Pennsylvania; eight siblings, Robert (Sara) Norton of Alabama, Howard McClain, Mary Lee McClain and Janice (Mac) McKee, all of Pennsylvania, Leonard (Denise) McClain of Delaware, Benny (Lisa) McKee of South Carolina, Rickie (Barbara) McKee of Georgia and Brenda (Kenny) Davis of Texas; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Second Baptist Church, 132 S. Willow St., Kennett Square, followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m.
Interment will be in Union Hill Cemetery, 242 Union St., Kennett Square, with full military honors.
