Nancy,
We are terribly sorry about your loss. Dave was always so generous with his time at SJRC. And we will always have fond memories of our time with him at the food tent. In honor of such a wonderful family man whose life was cut short before his time, we have sent a contribution to the Troop 25, Take care and know that we are praying for you and your family. I am so saddened to hear about Dave. I first met him back in 2003 and used him to clean our carpets and furniture. He used to do the cleanings years ago so I got to know him personally. He was a sweetheart and always wanted to make sure that he did a good job. We would discuss politics, talk about our kids and whatever else we could think about. I would always run into him at Shop Rite and we would always laugh about how we were always shopping for food. I heard that he was not feeling well about a month ago when Brandon and Marcus came out to clean my carpets but I did not expect this. My whole family will miss him! Truly a gentleman. My condolences to his family whom he loved very much.

I first met Dave when I starting using him to clean my carpets, several years ago. Over those years, I had many conversations that I really enjoyed. He was such a kind person-just so nice and never saying anything bad about anyone. He always gave people benefit of the doubt and truly cared about them and would do anything to help them achieve their goals or happiness. Never did I have a conversation with Dave that he didn't tell me about his son, Eddie of whom he was so proud and loved so much.
I am so sad today, learning of Dave's passing. It breaks my heart to know that I will never again have anymore of those fun and solving the world's problems, conversations . My dog,Lily, will miss him, too.
God bless you ,Dave and rest in peace. You will be truly missed.
M y sincere sympathy and prayers are with Dave's family. So sorry.....
