Dr. Bernard S. "Bernie" Gilbert

Voorhees, NJ - 89, passed November 17, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. A podiatrist in Mount Holly, NJ, and a graduate of South Phila HS, Temple Univ, and Fellow of Phila College of Podiatric Medicine, Bernie was a Medical Specialist in the US Army, a president of Temple Har Zion, active in Mizpah Lodge of the Free and Accepted Masons, and a volunteer at The Walnut Street Theater. He will be especially missed by his devoted wife of 65 years, Roslyn; children David (Hiroko), Lauren Wels (Andrew), and Steven (Maria); grandchildren, Matthew, Erica, Jocelyn and Jessica; sister Shirley (Lee) Hymovitz, and sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Helene and Mel Woda and their families.

Relatives and friends are invited Sunday beginning 12:15 PM to

Cherry Hill, NJ

Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM. Interment at Crescent Memorial Park, Pennsauken, NJ. Shiva at the home of Steven and Maria Gilbert.
