Caitlin Kearney Obituary
Caitlin Anne Kearney of Pitman, NJ. Beloved daughter of Denise Urevick and the late Bernard Kearney. Loving mother of Caroline and Lilly. Cherished granddaughter of Dorothy Kearney. Greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Caitlin was a unique individual with incredible strength and spirit who was very much loved. A Memorial Mass for Caitlin will be held at 10AM on Friday, September 1st at St. Bridget's in Glassboro, NJ. Visitation from 9-10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Seeds of Hope Ministries, 1700 Broadway, Camden, NJ 08104. Arrangements by Grasso Funeral Home/ Buddy Dougherty, F.D.

My most beautiful niece Caitlin...few days pass that I don't think of you, baby girlfriend. I pray for you on this side and hope you look out for your mom and girls from that side. Just yesterday, I picked up the letter you wrote to me when you were 8 or 9. You were a joy. You had such insIght into people with a great sense of humor. i felt so happy spending time with you. I love you, will always love you, and will see you again some day.

You were a beautiful girl, with a firecracker spark. You had such a beautiful soul and heart. You spoke your mind and did not let anyone tell you any different. Caitlin, my baby girl friend, we put lots of miles on the car together. You were the most beautiful child, affectionate, shy, curious, perceptive, excited by carnivals, swimming pools, a daring soul climbing rocks, trying to cartwheel, playing soccer. I took you on my trips to Nevada, CaliforniaThe teachers I worked with knew you well. I tried to be there in the background, supporting you when I could, sharing thoughts, encouragement. I am happy you are back home with us. I hope you can now rest in peace.

Caitlin was one of my students at Glassboro Intermediate School. She was such an intelligent, witty, and optimistic young lady, a real delight to have in class! I am so saddened to hear of her passing. I'm praying for you all and asking God to bring you comfort and peace.
