Julie Chase Obituary
Julie Jill Chase, age 46, of Shelton entered into rest on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. She was born in Derby on December 1, 1972, daughter of Merle Chase, Jr. and Jill (Burns) Chase and was a lifelong Shelton resident. Julie was a graduate of the Trumbull High School Class of 1992. She enjoyed riding horses, country line dancing and spending time in the dog park. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Julie is the beloved mother of Samantha Chase and Chase Olmo and sister of Eric Chase and his fiancee Lenita Cunha. Friends are invited to her memorial service on Saturday, January 26 at 2:00 p.m. at the Huntington Congregational Church, 19 Church St., Shelton followed by a gathering at the church hall. The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to her Children's Educational Trust Fund through the family or funeral home. The Riverview Funeral Home. 390 River Rd., Shelton is entrusted with her arrangements. Friends may leave condolences at www.riverviewfh.com.

Seeing that Julie passed away makes my heart break and i cant help but cry like a little girl. She was around my sisters age during dance class and i remember i thought she was so pretty so i was always staring at her when she was around me she was "looking out" or the one in charge with Jill during class but we spent alot of time together where i hoped she thought of me as a family friend too. this is going to take me a while to not cry from my heart goes out to her entire family i really wish i could talk to her again in person, I really looked up to her for real.

My heart is breaking for your family. I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Julie. She and Eric have always held a special place in my heart. Though it's been many many years it was a pleasure and a good growing up experience to have had them in my care for so many years growing up. My sympathy and prayers go out to the whole family and her friends.
