Felix Fernandez Obituary
Felix M. Fernandez Jr. age 51 of Bridgeport beloved son of Maria Garcia Fernandez and the late Felix Fernandez Sr died Thursday, December 26, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Mantanzas, Cuba he was a resident of this area since 1969. A former manager for Kohls and Marshalls Department Stores he was a conscientious and dependable individual. He was a member of the Cuban Club (Liceo de Cubano). Survivors in addition to his mother include his fiancée, Carmen Hernandez of Bridgeport, a son Michael Fernandez, a daughter Kara Fernandez, two brothers Reynol Fernandez and Carlos Fernandez and his wife Kim all of Bridgeport. A special caring and devoted Aunt Aleida Alfonso of Bridgeport as well as several other aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends are invited to go DIRECTLY to St. Charles Church 1255 East Main Street, Bridgeport on Saturday, December 28, at 10:00 A.M. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated followed by internment in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. At the request of Felix, calling hours have been omitted. The Commerce Hill Funeral Home 4798 Main Street Bridgeport (on the Trumbull line) is in charge of arrangements.
