I miss Carl "Pa" Palmieri every day. I find myself signing this guest book a year and a half after his passing in the hopes that I can feel more of his presence again. He remains one of the great role models of my life and the best of example of someone who gave more than he took. Miss you Pa.

Tuchy was a special friend and mentor for many years. Together, we recovered, one day at a time, from several addictive and compulsive behaviors. I helped him with the publication of several of his inspirational books. Through the good and bad, we also battled cancer.

Our "deep sharing" was heart to heart and spirit to spirit. I miss my "brother in recovery," and I know it is up to me and others to pass on his rich legacy.

My brother Tuchy (he would not allow me to call him Carl) was a light in my life. He was a decade older so he was always a positive role model. His overt acts of kindness and generosity have been a great example. In high school, a guidance counselor told him he wasn't college material. He took it as a challenge and graduated from college summa cum laude with a 4.0. He took all challenges and his life seriously, by getting things done and finding his way to success, all while living a balanced and inspirational life. I will miss his counsel, his smile, his playing Santa at our Christmas party, his hugs, his light and his love. RIP Brother Tuchy LYSM

Carl was a mentor to me and to whoever was fortunate enough to cross his path. His gift in life was helping people. If you worked for Carl he really believed that he worked for you instead. He carried a book of quotes in his shirt pocket and was never shy to pull this out at the opportune time to share a quote and send a message. One time he asked me how I was doing and I said that I did not feel good, he quickly told me that "99% of the work gets done by people that do not feel good". If you made a mistake or were about to he would say "Roachy Don". That was his way to keep you on track and with a certain amount of humor. When you went off track he would call you a "wild bird". He loved to say "live it up" and that was really what he wanted everyone else to do. We will all miss his helping hand along with that terrific smile and that timely quote that would make us all smile or laugh.

Carl was such an amazing person to have known and worked with. His attitude towards people was unique. In a business where too many are about the numbers Carl was always about the people. Just a real great man. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
