Emil and I recorded a CD in 1998 as past members of the Easy Riders Jazz Band. Emil and I were both in that band, but at different times. The recording, entitled Then and Now, compared the 1965 Easy Riders with the 1998 Easy Riders. It's an excellent recording, and Emil lays down a wonderful 4-4 banjo beat. It was a pleasure to know Emil and to work with him on the CD. May he rest in peace.
