Telemak Kona Obituary

KONA Telemak Kona age 89 of Bridgeport beloved husband of Gina Trevale-Kona entered eternal rest Monday, February 4, 2008 in Bridgeport Manor with his family at his side. Telemak was born in Berat, Albania son of the late Dhimiter and Evdhoksi (Mile) Kona. He retired from Textron-Lycoming of Stratford. He lived for his family with complete love and dedication. Beside his wife, who was the love of his life, he's survived by three children, Evhoksi Kona-Genova and husband, John, Carmelo Kona and wife, Diane, Teresa Kona-Leone and husband, Benedict; eight grandchildren, Daniel Dhimiter Monroe and wife, Irida, Gigi Monroe-Allen and husband, Carlos, Christopher Kona and wife, Lexi, Erika Kona, Katrina Kona, Ann Genova, Andrew Genova and Thomas John Genova; five great-grandchildren, Athena and Alani Monroe, DeAngelo and DeAndre' Allen and Charlotte Kona; one sister in Tirana, Albania; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother and sister in Berat, Albania. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial meeting directly at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 7, 2008 in St. Margaret Shrine, Park Avenue, Bridgeport. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. There will be no visiting hours. The William R. McDonald Funeral Home, Stratford is in care of arrangements. Telemak will be very much missed by his family and friends who knew him, loved him for his kindness and great respect for anyone. He was a great gentleman.
