Peter C. Grabowski Sr.

GRABOWSKI Peter C. Grabowski Sr., age 78, of Trumbull, a retired employee for General Electric Co. with 30 years of service and former employee of Jenkins Valve Co., died on Friday, December 16, 2005, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, on September 6, 1927, he was a son of the late Stanley and Antoinette Bartzui Grabowski. A U. S. Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Grabowski was a Trumbull resident for 41 years. He was a member of Union Local I.U.E. 203 for more than 25 years, the American Legion Sylvan Crest Post, the Knights of Columbus and the Polish Falcons of America. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Joan Landock Grabowski; a son, Peter C. Grabowski Jr. and his wife, Ellen, of Bradenton, Fla.; two daughters, Barbara-Ann Zuzick and her husband, Joseph, of Shelton and Susan Grabowski of Trumbull; three brothers, Simon Grabowski of Hot Springs, Ark., Chester Grabowski of Winchester, Ind. and John Grabowski of Trumbull; two sisters, Stella and Mary Grabowski, both of Bridgeport; five grandchildren, Anna Anderson and her husband, Kevin, Catherine Zuzick, Joan Zuzick, Peter C. Grabowski III and Meghan Grabowski; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Stanley Grabowski; and a sister, Genevieve Grabowski. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, Bridgeport, for a Mass of Christian Burial.
