Jeffrey Hebert Obituary
Hebert, Jeffrey W. Hebert age 53 of Stratford passed away suddenly on December 14, 2013 in his residence. Jeffrey was born on August 15, 1960 in Norwalk and was the son of the late Artwell and Doris Spence Hebert. Jeffery was an extraordinary person. He had tremendous integrity and maintained personal principles of honesty, generosity, trust, loyalty, friendship and plenty of good humor. He was an avid gardener, culinary artist, master mechanic and hospitable friend and host always giving and sharing his time, talents and crafts with family, dear friends, workers, neighbors and strangers. Jeffery delighted in making someone's day brighter and putting a smile on their face. His brilliant wit and dry humor warmed the hearts and lifted the spirits of each person he met every day. Jeff did not seek to pursue or to attain a special stature in this life, but achieved it and surpassed it nevertheless. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered in our hearts. Jeffery is survived by two brothers Eugene (Gene) A. Hebert and Jay P. Hebert both of Stratford, and a special niece Sarah Hebert Condor of Stratford. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday December 20, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home 2220 Main Street Stratford officiated by Rev. Bruce Roby. Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home on Friday from 8:30 AM until time of service. Hebert Family - I knew Jeff from High School. Had seen him recently we spoke very briefly as I had lost my own brother. Seeing him brought back many memories, was hoping to see him around again, sorry that will not happen. My deepest sympathies to your family on your loss.
