Frank's spirit is alive and well in every Farragut cadet , administrator and faculty member that ever knew him. His kindness, grace , integrity, wisdom, humor and generosity defined him as a leader among men, and colored every decision he made throughout his life. I miss my "PalFrank" and rather suspect I always will...but as he would have expected from me... have used that as a powerful motivator to complete the work we started together over a decade ago. Frank was my "Go To Guy". A champion, a fighter, and a loyal supporter of educational programs. A true gentleman if every respect. He is still missed.

We're thankful for all he did to create Eagle Hill/The Southport School. His dedication helped change the lives of so many children and families. His efforts and spirit will live on through the children taught at the school he envisioned. -the Ambrose family

So very saddened to hear of Frank's passing. All of us at Martel will miss him greatly. He and Barbara were part of of our quirky little restaurant family , and their favorite table, # 73 , will never be quite the same without him. He was one of a kind. Funny, generous, well dressed , always the perfect gentleman , and always up for a feisty conversation. I often told him how I marveled at his 70 year marriage , and would ask him how he made it work. His answers always made me chuckle.
I will miss him.
Sending warm thoughts and love to Barbara and family.

Volumes could be written about my "PalFrank", but suffice it to say, Frank Wendt was a giant among men.Highly successful in a business environment not normally known for compassion, he never once compromised the truth of who he was, and to this day, remains the kindest and most honorable man I've ever known.

Like St. Paul Frank ran the race, fought the good fight, and now a crown awaits him in heaven.
