Mike, Janice, Julie and Lisa were part of our chosen family when we all relocated from Boston to DC for work. We watched our kids grow up, shared holidays and important events for many years. We love him and miss him.

Prayers for Janice and Mikes family . I grew up across the street from Mike on Highland Ave. in Ebensburg , Pa. Our " Gang " of about 30 teenage boys had too much fun, a lot revolving around Mike. He was the smartest student we ever knew and his life was a shining light.

May your hearts be filled with the memories of a full life lived well. I have many good memories of the Faden family from the time I was in second grade and Michael was the big brother to my lifelong great friend, Sue. Our thoughts are with you all.

I am heartbroken to hear about Mike´s passing. I remember being a new Chief of staff at the Council and I was instantly drawn to Mike. I spent countless hours in his office, and loved to hear his stories and grab every crumb of advice he could offer. I savored his goodness and his kindness. He was truly the North Star at the Council. He has flown away on the wings of mighty angels and I will miss him. May his memory be a blessing.
