Growing up and working at WNHU with Louis, I have so many memories! He was like a brother to me. I remember he came to my house to pick me up and my mom was cooking collard greens! She offered him dinner and he called his dad to ask if he should taste them! He ate and my mom and I laughed because he enjoyed them! I know his birthday is coming up! I miss my friend and brother in radio but more importantly my brother in the Lord

My Dear Friend Louis
We met in October 1987 in Cannes France. I brought my Mom on a vacation and we were going up the elevator and as we walked in you got in behind us and heard we were from New York and that´s all it took. He was so full of life and he wanted my Mom to see the Grand Casino in Monte Carlo. So we got in Louis´s rental car and off we went. Looking down the cliffs onto Monte Carlo was amazing and Louis was like the best tour guide and my mother told Louis to stop talking and pay attention to his driving
I wish I knew about the memorial as I want to be there.
Needless to say we ended up with Louis playing and singing at this amazing bar at the Grand Casino and my Mom was as proud of Louis as he was her own son. He kept in touch with my mother over the years and I too.
Louis was so special to me and wish I could have seen him a lot more but living in Germany and Italy put a damper on things.

RIP my dear special friend.

Louis and I go way back to 1974 at WNHU! He was like a brother to me. I remember one Christmas when he agreed to tag team on the air with me. We decided to be a Christmas gift to the listening audience. He asked me to do midnight to 7am and he would bring breakfast and take it from there. I went on at midnight as planned but in true Louis fashion he showed up 12 noon the next day, no breakfast and I was so mad at him but he just laughed and thought it was funny! I have a lot of Louis Crescenti stories. He was my brother and a gem. We miss having him in our corner

Louis my heart is heavy and feels broken that I was just writing you a private message as you have been on my mind so much lately and I wanted to write you. I then started looking at your Facebook as was just read that you past. My heart and love are with you and your family and you beautiful wife you talked about all the time.
We met in Canne France and continued to Monte Carlo and then to Nice where we hung out with the Mayor of Nice Jacque Medici´ne. I have so many stories and wish I was reminiscing them with you

Love you in my heart forever

I´m late to the party. Louis: you were there for me man! And yes, we were artists and weird and made music but your heart was always in the right place. And Seinfeld: you were a walking encyclopedia hello? You were a true brother. You went too soon. But: you always made me think of the eternal. I can only hope to be such a resilient artist in my lifetime. A violent, unapologetic lover of the flame of art and love that brings glory to Jesus. It was a careful dance you mustered. Thanks for supporting me. See ya when I see ya

Dear Ann, Mel and Lucia.
We are so very sorry to hear that Louis passed away. We will remember him as the life of the party. He was kind enough to be your mom's date to our wedding 19 years ago, because your father was participating in an art show. Many people commented how talented Louis was when they heard one of his earlier piano tapes. May your family and friends help you get through this difficult period quickly.

What an extraordinary human being. He will be missed by so many of us, but oh what joy he will be to those in Heaven. I picture him playing the piano in God's orchestra and filling the atmosphere with such beautiful music. Blessings to his earthly family. Remember what King
David said about his infant son who died, "He cannot come to me, but
one day I will go to him." May the Lord be with you at this time and bless each one of you with His Peace.

Dear Louis....
How influential you were in my life at a time when I was deepening my faith & walk with the Lord. I will cherish in my memory the missions work we did in Russia so many years ago. You were an inspiration in so many ways. Rest in the arms of Jesus now ❤

Louis was a friend of our family for decades and even as a kid I was immediately drawn to his smile and endearing personality. Growing up our home had many musicians passing through, but I could tell that Louis was special. Not only for his exceptional musical talent, but his ability to connect to people. These are the most important things I remember about Louis but reflecting on the time I was privileged to spend with him I would be remiss to not mention his amazing hair. From the perspective of a child it was impossible to ignore the glorious curly locks flowing from his head. Louis you will be missed, and I am thankful we had the opportunity to cross paths in life.

Dear Ann, I know that it is so hard for you not having Louis by your side physically. It is such a loss. He was great guy. So much fun and full of life. He was such a talented and creative man and the world is surely dimmer without his presence. I know you are very strong and his love and spirit will be there with you whenever you need him. I am so sorry that I cannot be there with you today but I hope we can meet in the future so I can give you a big hug. For now, I send you a huge virtual hug and my positive love and thoughts. Love, Pam

Having Ann as our next door neighbor is a wonderful gift. When Louis joined her he brought his special gifts of sweetness, kindness, humor, music and art. Oh, and the joy of ducks!

Thank you Louis! We miss you but know you are in God's love, peace and light forever.

In love. Ann and Sam

In one of the darkest seasons of my life, Louis was there for me. He ministered the love of God to both me and my children. A lot of the time we would talk about superficial and every day things, but when we went into prayer, a depth of character was revealed in him that I have not witnessed till this day. His wisdom and insight were not of this world. I consider it a great honor to call him my friend.

What can one say about such a wonderful man? Louis, himself, was a gift to my life. I treasured his friendship and brotherhood. I look forward to greeting him again in the Kingdom.

I admired and respected the many facets of his creativity and artistry, especially as expressed in impressionist art and contemplative music.

While we lived in Connecticut, we were blessed by Louis’ piano virtuoso through live concerts and multiple recorded albums of his contemplative music, inspired by faith. It was a refreshing and welcome change from other styles. That music was so unique in those days.

Louis gave of himself, his time, his life, and his skills. He willingly helped others with their music; he attended concerts in support of other musicians or churches. When the Connecticut Christian Artists Alliance formed in the early 1990’s, he was a cornerstone of musical knowledge, wisdom, faith, and presence.

Louis was a prayer warrior. The first time I prayed with him, I felt that we were about to do some form of short praise and thanks but instead he brought me into a contemplative prayer, and 2 hours went by like it was 2 minutes.

My heartfelt condolences to Ann and the family.

My life was blessed by Louis Crescenti. I will miss him, for now
