Judy McKinley Obituary

Judy passed peacefully Jan. 6, 2021 at the University of Kentucky Hospital due to complications of the COVID pandemic.
Judy was born to the late Ann and R. W. Roberts in Jonesborough, Arkansas.
Judy was a christian, she lived for her church and special prayer group at the Cynthiana Baptist Church. She spent several hours a day with her bible.
Judy was such a beautiful artist. She was blessed with so many rug hooking friends.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Gene McKinley; three sons, Mike (Debbie), Mark (Marlene) and Mack; three grandchildren, Jessica Harrington, Mindy (Michael) Rath, M. D. (Mary) McKinley; and five great-grandchildren, Abby, John Michael, Matthew, Daniel and Joshua.
Judy had so many friends, so healthy, never sick. Judy and Gene lived abroad for 27 years, the last 18 years they lived in Italy. What a great life!
Care Cremation was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be sent to Shropshire Animal Shelter, c/o Allen Fryman.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.
This goes to show this COVID is very serious.
Special thanks to Mindy Rath and Mary McKinley for all their help.
We all loved you and you will be missed by many. Judy helped so many people. She had a long life line. Judy was a graduate of Cardone and attended Transylvania College.

Judy was such a nice, thoughtful person. My mother and I were always invited to the family reunion at Judy and Gene’s house. Great people. Great memories.
