I love this photo of Al. It brings many good memories to mind. The first time I met him we played Canasta at his dining room table - Anderson style. Holy Cow! It was like Canasta boot camp. Get tough - no mercy. I got schooled! I remember Rose served some delicious, fresh muffins.I probably didn't say thank you - so, thank you Rose. Also will never forget Al singing at Joules and Julio's wedding. Al was all kindness, generosity, talent and love. My heart is with those he loved the most - Joules, Julio, Alex, Laura, Brian and the love of his life... Rose. Such a loss, but what a life! He will not be forgotten.
I hope you can feel my heart and my arms around you.
Much Love, Kim

It has been my great privilege to be the son-in-law and a close friend of Al.

Sitting around the campfire at the cottage, pitching horse shoes, playing Canasta, talking Bulls/Bears/Cubs, or just chatting about whatever is going at the time, Al was always full of love and joy.

There are many great memories of times we spent together or discussions we have had that I think back on often.

Thank you for being my friend Al. I love you.

Der Rose, Each soul is a beautiful flower that passes from this earth only to bloom again in heaven's garden. I'm sure Al will continue to make beautiful music in his new garden.

I feel so privileged to have known Al and to have been on the receiving end of so many of the Studio 1000 cards through the years. He was a kind man who thoroughly loved his family and was so very proud of all of you. My life is more blessed for having known him! He will be deeply missed.
