Deborah Carlson Obituary
Born on November 6, 1958 in San Pedro and entered eternal life on June 24, 2013. Deborah was preceded in death by our parents Raoul (Porky) and Ruth (Pfingstag) Carlson. Deborah worked for 15 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Little Sisters of the Poor until 2004 due to her declining health. Serving the residences at the Little Sisters was the joy of our sister's life. Whether she was bathing, feeding, joking, or praying with the residences Deborah always saw the dignity of each person she ministered too. Deborah is survived by her three brothers, Deacon Dennis of Holy Trinity, Jerry and David and her pets, Damien, Mama, and Benjamin. We especially want to thank Dr. Stuart Winkler and staff, Pacific Dialysis staff, Mars Transportation, Dr. Michael Wyman and staff of Cor Health, Dr. Ted Fennar and staff, and our coworkers and friends for their kindness and support during our sister's illness. Deborah's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 1, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church followed by burial at Green Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Sunday, 1 - 6 p.m. at McNerney's Mortuary. We ask that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Christian Service Ministry at Holy Trinity.
