Isabella Pugeda Ofsanko

Of Torrance CA, born June 18, 1997, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 in a car accident. She was known by her friends and family as "Boo" or "Izzy".
Isabella is survived by her parents Desiree and Richard Palmer, John and Nattanit Ofsanko, sister, Caylin; and brothers Justin, Tyler, and Braeden; great-grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, lakes, and mountains. She had a special bond with the ocean and found joy watching the sunset. Isabella loved animals, adopting bunnies and turtles. She also felt deep compassion for the troubled and homeless- a testament to the depth of her humanity. She was involved in ice skating, skiing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, high school track, soccer, and club soccer.
Isabella attended Riviera Elementary, Richardson Middle School, South Torrance High School, and Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. She had a fiery spirit and compassionate soul which drew people to her. Isabella had a profound impact on people, even those she briefly met.
While her time on earth was much too short, we are all blessed to have had her in our lives for more than 18 years. She had a vibrant personality and an enormous, infectious smile. Her spirit and memory will live in our hearts forever.
Please join Isabella's family in a celebration of her life on Thursday, October 29th at 4:00 PM at the South Coast Botanic Garden, located at 26300 Crenshaw Boulevard in Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA, 90274. The family requests you wear something yellow, the color that made her happy.
