I'm so sorry to hear about Mary's passing. She was my therapist for a few years and helped me immensely. My sincere condolences to her friends and family.

Mary's knowledge, skill, and intuition made her among the best teachers I ever had in graduate school. Hearing of her ongoing warmth, humor, intelligence, and welcoming persona throughout her life from the numerous people who spoke at yesterday's memorial service, was certainly consistent with the wonderful person I once knew. May you rest In Peace, Mary Schlesinger.

Mary was a very bright presence at dances. My sense is that her terrific smile signaled her passion for dancing music, and for being with friends and acquaintances. I did not realize until now her many interests including music performance. She will be missed.

I've known Mary around town for 17 yrs maybe.
I do the sales for the Camera newspaper at the Boulder Farmers Market.
Mary loved to come to the farmers market.
She always had a beautiful smile and a wonderful spirit and glowing smile to add to it all. She was bright, talented and had a very human touch in her demeanor. I am going to miss her very much.
It won't be the same really.
I bet I will still feel her presence there when I am there.
Blessings for the family.
I was lucky to have known such a wonderful lady really.
Heartfelt wishes,
Audrey

Mary and I had been friends since the early 1960's -- 52 years. I am very saddened by her passing and miss her. She and I met when we were young cellists in the Boulder Philharmonic. I performed in the symphony until 1980, often sharing a music stand with Mary. She performed with the Symphony for close to 30 years. We had so much fun during those years and also when we performed in other orchestras together over the years. She always had a wonderful smile and warm, open heart.

I remember her smile the most. And her energetic positive spirit. I am so sad she is not dancing among us on earth, but hope her spirit is joining those who have gone before and is musically joyful.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Mary. She was a very dear friend and wonderful dance partner at the Avalon Ballroom. We also had many warm conversations there. I still find myself looking for her at the dances. Miss you Mary.

I can still feel Mary's joyful spirit dancing around the Avalon. She brings a smile to my face.
